We are seeking a highly skilled OBIEE Consultant with extensive experience in OBIEE Reporting, RPD development, and related data integration tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of SQL, be proficient in Informatica and DAC, and bring a proven track record of delivering on large-scale BI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain OBIEE reports and dashboards using OBIEE 12c.
- Perform RPD modeling (Physical, BMM, and Presentation layers) and implement changes as needed.
- Write and debug complex SQL queries to support data analysis and report development.
- Configure and manage OBIEE security, including roles, permissions, and data-level security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
- Use Informatica tools for log analysis, issue resolution, and debugging ETL workflows.
- Access DAC (Datawarehouse Administration Console) for checking schedules and job execution status.
- Manage project lifecycles, provide technical support, and contribute to BI strategy and improvements.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability of reporting systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with OBIEE Reporting and RPD development.
- At least 2 years of experience on OBIEE 12c.
- Proficiency in SQL for report logic, data validation, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter for ETL processing and DAC for job scheduling and monitoring.
- Solid understanding of OBIEE security configurations and best practices.
- Experience working on large-scale BI projects, including requirement analysis, implementation, and support.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative IT environment.
