Job Description

NUTRIOTIONIST

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Dietetics, or related field
Certification in sports nutrition, wellness nutrition, or clinical nutrition (preferred but not mandatory)
3-6 years of experience in wellness centers, fitness centers, clinics, or community health
Knowledge of balanced diets, supplementation, and preventive nutrition
Strong knowledge of food science, macro/micronutrients, and dietary guidelines
Excellent communication and motivational counseling skills
Ability to design personalized diet and lifestyle modification plans
Knowledge of nutrition for weight management, sports, pediatrics, geriatrics, and lifestyle diseases

Job Description

Assess clients dietary habits, lifestyle, and health goals
Develop personalized nutrition plans for weight loss, weight gain, fitness, and overall wellness
Guide clients on portion control, balanced meals, and healthy eating patterns
Counsel clients on nutrition for prevention of lifestyle diseases (obesity, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease)
Provide guidance on nutrition during pregnancy, lactation, childhood, and old age
Conduct workshops, seminars, and awareness sessions on nutrition and healthy eating
Prepare educational materials, diet charts, and recipes for clients
Provide continuous motivation and monitor client progress
Develop healthy menus and meal plans for wellness centers, fitness facilities, and cafeterias
Stay updated with new trends in nutrition science, superfoods, and evidence-based practices
Participate in nutrition research and wellness program development
Maintain client records, dietary assessments, and progress notes
Provide periodic reports on client outcomes and program effectiveness
