Prepare patients for day care procedures, treatments, or minor surgeries.
Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and injections as prescribed by physicians.
Assist doctors during minor procedures and treatments.
Provide post-procedure care and observe patients for any complications.
Educate patients and attendants about post-treatment care and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Coordinate with doctors and other departments for smooth patient care and discharge.
Qualifications
B.Sc Nursing / GNM with KNC Registration.
Must have skills
- Strong knowledge of pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care
- Ability to monitor vital signs and patient condition
- Skilled in IV cannulation, medication administration, and injections
- Experience in assisting doctors during minor procedures
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols
Good to have skills
- Basic knowledge of minor surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) / Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Ability to provide patient education and discharge instructions
