What You'll Do
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing to Pay Specialist with a strong background in technical procurement and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have over five years of coercing experience and a total of 7 to 8 years in the field. This role requires excellent technical skills, particularly in manufacturing processes, and expertise in handling categories such as machine sheet, metal forming, plastic injection molding, and electronic manufacturing services.
1. Supplier Management:
- Efficiently communicate with suppliers to ensure clarity in requirements and expectations.
- Identify and engage with new suppliers to expand the supplier base.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Technical Procurement:
- Demonstrate expertise in technical procurement, particularly in manufacturing processes.
- Handle procurement categories including machine sheet, metal forming, plastic injection molding.
- Assess suppliers on both commercial and technical aspects to ensure the best value for the company.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to convey requirements efficiently to suppliers.
- Project Management:
- Expedite project deliverables in uncertain development environments.
- Ensure timely delivery of procurement projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field
Over 4 years of coercing experience in procurement.
- Total experience of 5 to 7 years in the field.
Skills
Proven expertise in manufacturing processes like, Machining, turning, sheet metal, die casting, plastic injection molding
- Communication:
- Excellent communication skills to convey requirements efficiently to suppliers.
- Ability to interact with research institutes, including government agencies.
- Assessment Skills:
- Proficiency in assessing suppliers on commercial and technical aspects.
