Job Description

  • Transportation Planning / Warehouse / Factory / Supply Planners To communicate as needed with Transportation management regarding carrier service issues and internal/ external customer/facility service requirements.
  • Manufacturing / Distribution--Partner with sites to ensure shipment plan is intact and exceptionable for same day/next day shipments. Monitor daily execution of shipping/receiving activities at assigned facilities and facilitate daily discussions with Plants and Site Transportation Planner.
  • Customer Supply Chain-- Work with Customer Service TLs, Customer Supply Chain, and carrier partners to provide expert assistance with on time pickup and on time delivery of FG shipments. Ensure appropriate communication to all impacted parties.
  • Export Documentation--Coordinate with suppliers and forwarders for customs documentation and share the same to customers for release of containers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through control plan execution and actively participate in relevant lean six sigma projects.
  • Product Supply--Monitor daily execution of upstream replenishment plans, and initiate corrective action when service issues arise. Ensure appropriate communication to all impacted parties.
  • External Carriers--On a daily basis, work with carriers on-site resources, HQ and dispatch offices to resolve Routing Guide and service issues. Monitor communications and escalate to various internal and external stakeholders when necessary.
  • Demonstrate oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate issues in a succinct and logical manner. Strong listening skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and work with team when help is needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Strong sense of customer service and analytic skills
  • Self-starter, able to accomplish tasks independently, can-do attitude.
  • Capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Basis excel knowledge
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others
