Job Description

Has 4+ years of NodeJS application and backend service development experience (bonus: TypeScript, GitHub Actions, Harness, Kubernetes).
Has experience with REST API development, data modeling, and API contracts (e.g. OpenAPI).
Has a grasp of formal development processes, including interfacing with the business, ticketing systems, code repositories, and the pull request process.
Has a solid understanding of full-stack development, from user interface to backend systems and API integrations.
Works collaboratively as part of a team, from requirements gathering and technical design to development and support.
Communicates clearly, transparently, and frequently regarding the status of the work, including risks, blockers, and other callouts.
Completes estimates and a work plan as appropriate for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks.
Develops to requirements and specifications, following SDLC best practices, including documenting and testing the code.
Provides continuing support and maintenance utilizing required tools and technologies, in collaboration with internal teams and vendors as appropriate.
Builds partnerships within the team and with other teams and business functions.
Champions company standards and best practices and works to continually improve and supplement them.
Exhibits drive, adaptability, and creative outside-the-box problem-solving skills.
Researches and promotes new and improved development techniques and technologies, fostering a culture of innovation.
