Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our development team in Mohali. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in backend development. A solid understanding of Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript and a passion for building scalable and efficient applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
- Collaborate with front end, DevOps and product teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Write clean, efficient and reusable code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Support integration of third party APIs and microservices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of hands on experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
- Database experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) is a plus.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, caching (Redis) and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is an advantage.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
