Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Create RESTful APIs for seamless communication with front-end components.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and efficiency.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Maintain and extend existing applications and systems.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain standards for code quality.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues as they occur.
• Work closely within Agile teams to deliver products on time.
• Document processes, code changes, and new features for future reference.
• Research and adopt new technologies that will enhance our product offerings.
• Provide technical support to clients and team members as needed.
• Participate in the design and architecture discussions for new projects.
• Contribute to requirement analysis and system design phases.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript programming language.
• Experience with Express.js and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in working with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Experience in developing scalable applications.
• Good understanding of application security principles.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
