Node Js Developer

Description

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Integration of data storage solutions such as databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and other technical discussions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-9 years of experience in Node.js development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js frameworks such as Express, Hapi, Koa, etc.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Good understanding of software development principles such as SOLID, DRY, KISS, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
