Job Description
We are seeking a
NOC Engineer (Tier 2) to join our growing operations team. You will handle escalated network/infrastructure issues, ensure high availability, and collaborate with Tier 1 for seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network devices, servers, and services for performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents (L2-level), collaborating with Tier 1 and Tier 3 as needed.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to Tier 1 engineers on operational best practices.
Preferred Skills & Tools Experience
- Network & Infrastructure Monitoring: vTeMIP+FAS, UCA+UOC, NNMi+NA, BPM+RUM+DIAG
- IT Operations & Automation: SMAX+AM, OBM+OPTIC+BVD, CIT+UCMDB, SA+OO
- Virtualization & Systems: VMWare, Windows/Linux server systems
- Data Center Infrastructure: DCIM systems (monitoring chiller plants, AHU, HVAC & PAC)
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center or similar environment.
- ITIL v3 certification (required).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routers, switches, and monitoring tools.
- Hands-on experience with ticketing systems, incident escalation, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
