Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a NICU Staff Nurse based in Bengaluru South. The NICU Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing specialized care to neonates, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and assisting in medical procedures. Other key responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with healthcare professionals, educating families, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for both newborns and families.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in neonatal care, including monitoring vital signs, providing ventilation support, and administering medications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with doctors, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Attention to detail and expertise in maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalism
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification, with specialized training or experience in neonatal care preferred
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and relevant medical equipment
