Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a NICU Staff Nurse located in Bengaluru South. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality neonatal care in a safe and nurturing environment. The role involves monitoring the health of newborns, administering treatment plans, supporting families, and ensuring the well-being of infants in critical care. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining accurate patient records, and adhering to hospital protocols are core aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- Strong neonatal care skills, including the ability to handle and monitor critically ill newborns
- Proficiency in managing equipment and devices used in neonatal intensive care
- Knowledge of healthcare protocols, infection control practices, and emergency response in NICU settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support and guide families
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work under high-pressure situations
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a diploma or degree in Nursing
- Specialized training or certification in neonatal nursing is highly desirable
- Previous experience in a NICU or paediatric care setting is a significant advantage
