Role Description
This is a hybrid volunteer role for a News Reporter based in the Tamil Nadu West Zone (Coimbatore). The role involves gathering, investigating, and reporting on news stories from the region, writing news articles, and preparing press releases in a timely manner. The role combines both fieldwork and remote tasks, providing the flexibility of some work-from-home opportunities while requiring on-site availability in Coimbatore for specific assignments and events.
This role is purely a service based open role of partnership on revenue you generate to company.
Qualifications
- Reporting, and News Writing skills for gathering and presenting accurate and relevant news
- Experience in preparing Press Releases and Writing concise news content
- Background in Journalism with adherence to ethical reporting practices
- Strong communication and storytelling skills in Tamil and English
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables
- Good understanding of regional and national issues, current affairs, and news trends
- Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred
