We are looking for a dynamic and confident
Bengali News Anchor with at least
2 years of on-air experience to join our news team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have strong presentation skills, excellent command over the Bengali language, and the ability to deliver news accurately and engagingly.
Key Responsibilities
- Present live and recorded Bengali news bulletins clearly and professionally
- Read news scripts, breaking news, and special reports with accuracy and confidence
- Conduct studio interviews and panel discussions when required
- Coordinate with producers, editors, and newsroom staff for smooth broadcasts
- Stay updated with current affairs, regional, national, and international news
- Handle live breaking news situations calmly and responsibly
- Maintain channel standards, ethics, and editorial guidelines
Required Skills Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bengali News Anchor or News Presenter
- Excellent command over spoken and written Bengali
- Strong voice modulation, diction, and on-camera presence
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in live broadcast environments
- Basic understanding of newsroom operations and teleprompter usage
- Degree or diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field preferred
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Hindi and English
- Experience in field reporting or scriptwriting
- Familiarity with digital/news media platforms
