About the Role:
Own the journey from idea to shelf—building products that consumers love, scale efficiently, and define the future of the category.
Role Description:
1. Product Strategy & Innovation- Own and drive the NPD roadmap aligned with business goals and evolving consumer trends
- Identify growth opportunities within the traditional sweets category, with a strong focus on quality, convenience, and consumer preference
- Lead ideation and prioritization of new product concepts based on impact and feasibility
2. Product Development & Operations- Oversee formulation, recipes, and process development to meet taste, cost, and quality benchmarks
- Build scalable and efficient manufacturing processes ensuring consistency and shelf stability
- Drive cost optimization through sourcing, process improvements, and packaging
- Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP)
3. Testing & Consumer Validation- Lead consumer testing, taste panels, and structured feedback loops
- Ensure product quality and shelf-life stability through rigorous testing
- Validate nutritional claims, especially for health-focused products
4. Packaging & Launch Execution- Define packaging aligned with product positioning and quality standards
- Drive go-to-market execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Maintain product documentation and compliance records
Candidate Profile- 2–3 years of experience in Mithai, Bakery, Dairy, or Confectionery
- Hands-on experience with milk-based products, sweets, bakery, or chocolates
- Prior exposure to packaged foods and shelf-life enhancement is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety, quality control, and compliance standards
- Creative mindset with a passion for food innovation and healthier alternatives
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
