Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Neurologist to join our team at Spandana Hospital. The role offers flexibility between Full-Time and Part-Time employment types and is based in the vibrant city of Bangalore. We are looking for professionals with a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of Neurology.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Clinical Neurology, including the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in Patient Assessment to effectively evaluate patient conditions and recommend appropriate interventions (Mandatory skill).
- Experience with EEG Interpretation to accurately interpret electroencephalogram results and diagnose neurological conditions (Mandatory skill).
- Skill in Electromyography to assess the health of muscles and the nerve cells that control them.
- Capability in MRI Interpretation to analyze magnetic resonance imaging scans for detecting brain abnormalities.
- Competence in conducting Neurological Examination to assess and diagnose patient neurological health effectively.
- Expertise in Case Presentation to clearly and accurately communicate patient cases to the healthcare team and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including EEGs and MRI scans, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic and patient-centered care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on neurological conditions and available treatment options.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of Neurology to apply innovative treatments.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patient interactions and treatments.
- Present cases and contribute to case discussions to drive high standards of clinical practice.
