Job Description

Experience: 4–15+ years in networking, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership/supervisory role managing teams.

Technical skills: Deep expertise in Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto/Fortinet technologies, routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), firewalls, SD-WAN, cloud networking (AWS/Azure), VPNs, and security tools. Hands-on troubleshooting and design experience required.

Certifications: CCNP/CCIE (preferred), CISSP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent highly valued.

Soft skills: Strong leadership, communication (presenting to non-technical stakeholders), problem-solving, project management, and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Lead and manage a team of network engineers, technicians, and support staff: Provide guidance, mentorship, performance evaluations, task assignment, workload management, and team development to ensure high performance and skill growth.

Oversee daily network operations: Handle incident management, service requests, change execution, problem resolution, performance monitoring, and root cause analysis for LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, and related infrastructure.

Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure: Develop blueprints, roadmaps, and secure network architectures (including hybrid/cloud environments); ensure high availability, scalability, security, and compliance with best practices.

Manage projects and upgrades: Lead network-related projects (e.g., consolidations, migrations, SD-WAN deployments, security enhancements); coordinate resources, vendors, budgeting (Opex/Capex), and execution while meeting deadlines and SLAs.

Strategic planning: Align network strategy with business goals, support digital transformation, and contribute to disaster recovery/business continuity plans.

Ensure security and compliance: Enforce cybersecurity policies, respond to threats, manage firewalls/VPNs, conduct vulnerability assessments, and keep equipment/firmware updated.

Vendor and stakeholder management: Liaise with third-party providers, contractors, and internal teams (e.g., IT, business units) for procurement, service alignment, and cost-effective delivery.

Monitor and report: Track network performance, usage, system load, and KPIs; prepare reports, forecasts, and recommendations for improvements or investments.
