Job Description

Job Summary

1. Responsible for managing LAN, WAN - Manage and support a global LAN, WAN infrastructure primarily comprising of Cisco Routers and Switches. Designing and implementing new solutions and maintaining the highest possible uptime.

2. Responsible for managing a Global Wireless Infrastructure - Comprising Wireless LAN controllers, LWAPs in each offices and all associated infrastructure

3. Responsible for managing the Global VoIP and IP Video Conferencing infrastructure - Comprising Cisco Call Managers, Unity Connection, VCS Control, Expressway, MCU, Conductor, VC Endpoints, Cisco IP phones, Zoom

4. Responsible for managing firewalls, VPNs and other security products - Includes management and upkeep of more than 75 firewalls - Cisco ASA and PaloAlto Networks, Forescout NAC, Zscaler. Maintain and add to a well-established Anyconnect VPN environment and an extensive IPSec VPN setup ensuring business continuity.

5. Troubleshooting complex Network & Security issues -

This involves

- Complex routing, switching issues and devising new configurations

- Analyzing logs and debugs from security devices and taking informed measures to resolve issues

- Packet capture and analysis to troubleshoot complex issues involving fair understanding of TCP/IP protocol

- Involve TAC support and provide required inputs to resolve issues within a set timeframe

6. Evaluating & Designing new solutions

This involves

- Understanding the existing setup and devising new solutions/designs in-line to that

- Ensuring optimal use of resources and planning for future growth

- Security solutions to meet the best of the industry standards

- Directly engaging OEM/vendors to understand new solutions and evaluate BoMs, BoQs

- Planning for POC and ensuring no impact on business environment

7. Perform device reviews to ensure compliance with hardening standards, access controls and security related configuration settings

8. Prepare documentation including operating procedures, standards, notifications and alerts

Experience: 4-7 years of relevant experience

Skills:

1. Experience in Cisco router configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting

2. Experience in Routing protocol (RIP/OSPF/EIGRP)

3. Strong Knowledge in IP addressing, VLSM, TCP/IP protocol suite; LAN protocols like ARP, DHCP/DNS, VLAN, EtherChannels, Port security, HSRP and VRRP

4. Expertise on OSPF, BGP, QoS, IPSLA, ACLs, Load balancing and Route manipulation techniques

5. Experience in Configuring & Managing Security Appliances like Cisco ASA, PaloAlto firewalls

6. Experience in VPN technologies - IPSec (site2site, client), SSL VPN (Anyconnect client), GRE VPN

7. Strong skills in packet capture analysis and analyzing logs, debugs Relevant

Professional Qualifications Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
