Position Overview (Job Summary):
The F5 Network / ADC Consultant is responsible for designing, deploying, upgrading, and supporting Application Delivery Controller (ADC) solutions with a primary focus on F5 (and exposure to Citrix Netscaler). The role provides end‑to‑end application delivery support including load balancing, SSL offloading, GSLB, security, lifecycle management, and vulnerability remediation. This position also involves strong client engagement, escalation management, mentoring, and 24x7 operational support.
Primary Skills:
- F5 BIG‑IP (LTM, GSLB, SSL Offload/Bridge)
- Citrix NetScaler (Load Balancing, Content Switching, AAA, Gateway)
- VIP design & implementation

- F5 lifecycle management & upgrades

- ADC security & vulnerability management
- Advanced troubleshooting (Wireshark, Fiddler, Curl, Postman)

- Palo Alto Firewall, Panorama (added advantage)

Experience:
- 6–12 years of experience as a Network / ADC Consultant
- Proven hands-on experience with F5 and/or Citrix NetScaler
- Experience supporting large-scale distributed environments
- Experience managing client escalations and production issues
- Experience working in 24x7 support models
✅ Role and Responsibilities
A. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation and design inputs from an F5 / ADC perspective
- Deliver end‑to‑end deployment of applications behind F5 ADCs
- Implement configuration changes at the load‑balancing level
- Perform F5 software and platform upgrades
- Provide break/fix support for F5‑related incidents
- Manage client and stakeholder escalations
- Perform vulnerability management and remediation
- Manage full lifecycle of ADC platforms
- Design and configure GSLB (Active‑Active / Active‑Passive)
- Renew and manage device and application SSL certificates
- Understand client business requirements and propose suitable solutions
- Actively participate in client meetings and business discussions
- Coordinate and direct technical work across teams
- Establish strong working relationships with internal teams and customers
- Support training and development of junior team members
- Provide 24x7 operational support as required
B. Additional Responsibilities:
- Review contractual documents such as SOWs
- Prepare runbooks, SOPs, network schemas, and presentation decks
- Generate operational reports and analytics
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay current with emerging ADC, security, and networking technologies
- Operate independently while collaborating effectively in team environments
