Job Description

Network & Security Engineer L3

Location: Noida

Shift: 24*7 Shift

Open positions: 2

Job Description:

  • Configure and manage enterprise-level LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Implement routing and switching technologies using protocols such as BGP & OSPF etc.
  • Manage next-generation firewalls, VPNs and network access control systems.
  • Serve as the L3 technical escalation point for network incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis for critical outages and provide permanent fixes.
  • Develop SOPs and remediation steps for L1/L2 teams.
  • Ensure network security hardening, firewall rule optimization,
  • Use monitoring tools to track network health and performance.
  • Proactively tune and optimize network bandwidth, redundancy, and failover mechanisms.
  • Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and knowledge base articles.
  • Lead the review and execution of network change requests (CRs)
  • Ensure adherence to maintenance windows and risk-mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in leading critical incident resolution

Required Skills:

  • Good understanding and hands-on experience with multi-vendor network devices (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet).
  • Strong fundamental knowledge & hands on experience over routing protocols (BGP4, OSPF), enterprise switching, LAN/WAN administration, and fault management
  • Knowledge and hands on experience on SDWAN (Fortinet), network management systems (NMS), OSI, and TCP/IP models.
  • Work flexibly in a 24x7 shift environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of NAT/PAT, TACACS, DNS, DHCP, AD, and wireless networks
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently, including packet analysis, log interpretation, and troubleshooting tools
  • Strong documentation skills for network configurations, diagrams, change management procedures, and incident reports
