About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Security Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise network design, architecture, and security, with hands-on experience across a range of technologies including Fortigate, Cisco, Meraki, and cloud platforms. You will be responsible for assessing, enhancing, and managing the security posture of our network infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures including Spine & Leaf and Three-Layer topologies
- Administer and secure enterprise networks using technologies such as Fortigate, Checkpoint, Aruba, Meraki, and Cisco
- Deploy and manage SD-WAN solutions (Cisco and Meraki)
- Assess current network and security setups and recommend improvements to strengthen defenses
- Perform regular security assessments using tools like BitSight, UpGuard, Nessus, Kali Linux, and Microsoft APT, and prioritize remediation efforts
- Administer Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) and manage web proxies including Zscaler, Netskope, and Bluecoat
- Implement and support advanced security solutions such as VPNs, ZPA, ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access), and CASB
- Ensure protection of cloud infrastructure and sensitive data across IaaS/PaaS environments
- Maintain a strong security posture for AWS and Azure cloud networks
- Continuously monitor, upgrade, and manage security measures for data, systems, and network protection
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and network security.
- Strong technical expertise with firewalls, SD-WAN, web proxies, and security assessment tools.
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts and architectures, including Spine and Leaf and Three-Layer Architectures.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Zero Trust and cloud-native security solutions.
- Solid knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud security practices.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk mitigation.
- Relevant certifications (preferred but not required): CISSP, CCNP Security, Palo Alto PCNSE, AWS Security Specialty, etc.
