Position Overview The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting the organization's network infrastructure. This role involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of all network systems. The incumbent will work closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to support business operations and drive continuous improvement in network technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Administration & Maintenance

Manage, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments.

Oversee routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network equipment.

Ensure optimal network performance, reliability, and availability. 2. Network Security

Implement and monitor network security policies (firewalls, IPS/IDS, ACLs, VPNs).

Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation.

Manage secure remote access and ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards.

3. Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Monitor network devices and network traffic using approved monitoring tools.

Monitor alerting systems and effectively manage system-generated alerts

Generate, review, and analyse reports, logs, and packet captures as per operational requirements. Perform physical installation and removal (mounting/unmounting) of network device

Configure, troubleshoot, and manage internet links and network tunnels in coordination with ISPs and vendors.

working knowledge of Cisco wireless solutions, including configuration and troubleshooting of Wireless Controllers and Access Points.

Full understanding and operational knowledge of L2 &L3 Switches/ ISR Routers and loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocols, VTP,802.1Q

Have hands-on experience with firewalls, including Cisco ASA/FTD/FMC, Fortinet, and Palo Alto platforms.

Perform firmware and software upgrades for network devices, including WLCs, switches, f irewalls, and routers.
