Network Security Engineer – L3 (Palo Alto, Fortinet)

Responsibilities and JD in brief, along with additional criteria to be considered :

· Expert-level knowledge of Fortinet firewall and security platforms.

· Strong working knowledge of Palo Alto / Fortinet firewalls and F5 BIG-IP load balancing solutions.

· In-depth understanding of:

· Network and security policies

· Access Control Lists (ACLs)

· Network Address Translation (NAT)

· Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS)

· Site-to-site and remote-access VPNs

· Experience with authentication and identity integrations (LDAP, RADIUS, SAML).

· Hands-on experience with Splunk for monitoring, alerting, and security analytics.

Certifications Mandatory:

· Fortinet Certified Expert (FCX)

· Preferred / Optional:

· Palo Alto Networks Security Professional

· F5 Certified Technology Specialist (Load Balancing)
