Job Role:-Network Security Engineer (Fortigate)
Job Location:- Chennai
Experience:- 4-8 Years
Key Responsibilities:-
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortigate firewalls
- Implement and update firewall rules and manage port openings
- Establish, validate, and troubleshoot IPsec VPN tunnels with vendors and partners
- Ensure secure hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-prem data centers
- Manage routing and traffic flow (upstream & downstream) across cloud and Data Center environments
- Monitor firewall performance and resolve network/security incidents
- Maintain documentation for firewall policies, tunnel setups, and network changes
- Collaborate with Azure, application, IT operations, and external teams for project and BAU support
Skills & Requirements:-
- Strong hands-on experience with Fortigate firewall configuration and rule management
- Proven expertise in IPsec VPN setup and troubleshooting
- Experience in firewall policy management and port configuration
- Working knowledge of Azure networking infrastructure
- Solid understanding of routing and hybrid (Cloud + Data Center) connectivity
- Good understanding of network security principles
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with vendors/stakeholders
