About the Role:

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer (L1) with hands-on experience in managing and supporting enterprise firewall environments. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls, along with a strong understanding of network security fundamentals.

Location - Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls.

• Perform firewall policy creation, modification, and optimization.

• Analyse security events and respond to firewall-related incidents.

• Troubleshoot network connectivity and security issues.

• Implement and maintain firewall rules in accordance with security policies.

• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve network and security incidents.

• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for firewall configurations and changes.

Required Skills:

• Expereince : 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience with:

o Palo Alto Firewalls

o FortiGate Firewalls

• Strong understanding of:

o TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN

o Routing and Switching concepts

o Network Security fundamentals

• Experience in firewall policy management and troubleshooting.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
