Role - Network Security Engineer (L2), Remote

Role overview:
We are seeking a Network Security Engineer with hands-on experience in enterprise network infrastructure, specializing in L2 support for load balancers, proxies, DNS/DHCP, and firewalls. The role involves troubleshooting, configuration, incident resolution, performance monitoring, and operational support of critical network security platforms.
What we are looking:
- Provide L2 support for enterprise network infrastructure and security platforms.
- Troubleshoot network incidents, identify root causes, and implement resolutions.
- Configure and support F5 Load Balancers, Proxy (Blue Coat/Zscaler), DNS/DHCP (Infoblox), and Firewall environments.
- Perform firewall rule changes, proxy policy management, DNS/DHCP administration, and load balancer configuration.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and system health.
- Execute incident, change, and problem management activities following ITIL processes.
- Collaborate with L1 teams, application teams, security teams, and vendors to resolve production issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides while ensuring SLA compliance.
Primary Technical Skills:
- Load Balancing: F5 BIG-IP (L2 Troubleshooting & Configuration)
- DNS/DHCP: Infoblox Administration & Troubleshooting
- Proxy: Blue Coat Proxy SG, Zscaler (L2 Configuration, Policy Management & Troubleshooting)
- Firewall: Firewall Rule Configuration, NAT, Access Control & Troubleshooting
