About the Role

The Network Security Analyst develops and delivers solutions that protect enterprise systems, applications.

Responsibilities

u00B7Monitor network and server infrastructure using NMS tools (SNMP, ThousandEyes, Kentik)

u00B7Perform initial alert triage, validation, and escalation per runbooks

u00B7Monitor network devices, firewalls, IDS, and virtualization platforms

u00B7Track health of WAN, SD WAN (Silver Peak), and cloud connectivity

u00B7Firewall rule implementation

u00B7Participate in periodic SOC and client driven security audits

u00B7Perform device onboarding and basic configuration validation

u00B7Assist with IP Address Management (IPAM) updates

u00B7Execute standard changes and maintenance activities under supervision

u00B7Validate config backups and document completion

u00B7Update CMDB records accurately and consistently

u00B7Perform basic CLI troubleshooting on network and firewall devices

u00B7Assist with routing/switching issues in Juniper and Aruba environments

u00B7Review logs and assist with log interpretation

u00B7Support packet capture requests with senior team guidance

u00B7Participate in cloud security strategy, readiness, and discovery assessments be familiar with cloud security frameworks, compliance requirements and security operations

u00B7Deliver on project deliverables and services that meet Program requirements

u00B7Ability to take initiative to communicate, interact, and collaborate with others to ensure that all aspects of a task are addressed.

u00B7Respond to incident escalation and own Problem management resolution (includes on-call)

u00B7Assist in Change and Incident management

u00B7Monitor, analyze and remediate vulnerabilities and findings

u00B7Manage and adhere to security compliance policies

u00B7Work with technical and business units across the organization as an operational reference point, offering advice, support and guidance on network issues.

Requirements

u00B7Bachelor's Degree or minimum 3-5 years equivalent Work Experience

u00B7Knowledge of SNMP, NetFlow, telemetry concepts

u00B7Basic understanding of routing and switching concepts

u00B7Familiarity with Juniper or Aruba switching (academic or hands on)

u00B7Understanding of firewalls and network security fundamentals

u00B7Exposure to cloud basics (AWS/Azure/GCP concepts)

u00B7Strong written and verbal communication skills

u00B7Willingness to work rotational shifts

u00B7Basic troubleshooting of Linux and/or Windows Server operating system.

u00B7Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

u00B7Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

u00B7Desire to work in an information systems environment

u00B7Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

u00B7Initiative and problem-solving skills to support project level work with moderate oversight/guidance
