Network Patching Engineer CIS

Role & Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and execute network patching activities for routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.
• Apply firmware, operating system, and security patches during approved maintenance windows.
• Perform pre-patch assessments, backups, and post-patch validation checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any patch-related issues; initiate rollback if required.
• Maintain proper documentation of patch activities, incident reports, and RCA.
• Collaborate with IT Operations, Security, and Application teams.
• Follow ITIL-based change management and CAB approval processes.
• Ensure continuous service availability and compliance with security standards.
