- Maintain switching and segmentation: Design, implement, and manage VLANs to ensure secure and efficient network segmentation for different business units and services.
- Administer core network services: Configure and maintain DNS for internal and external name resolution, ensuring reliability and low-latency access to critical applications.
- Implement and manage access control: Configure and review ACLs to enforce security policies, control traffic flows, and protect network resources from unauthorized access.
- Support network address translation: Configure and troubleshoot NAT to enable secure and efficient connectivity between internal networks and external services.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues: Use monitoring tools and logs to proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve network incidents within defined SLAs.
- Participate in change management: Plan, document, and execute network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities with minimal downtime and risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to support projects, deployments, and incident resolution.
- Maintain documentation: Create and update network diagrams, configuration records, and standard operating procedures for operational consistency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement: Recommend optimizations in network design, performance, and operational processes based on observed trends and best practices. Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network operations, network support, or a similar role in an enterprise environment.
