Network Operations engineer

Summary:

As a member of the Global Infrastructure and Platform service team, you will work on challenging projects in a highly collaborative environment focused on being entrepreneurial, agile, and responsive. This position is based in our Bangalore Office with a work-from-office mandate.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support all Network & Security Infrastructure running on AWS, Azure, GCP & OCI Clouds.
• Ensure network stability and performance for Company On-Premises and Public Cloud networks.
• Provide support for network infrastructure problems by monitoring the team&rsquos support queue, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, identifying the root cause of critical issues, and ensuring corrective action is taken following problem identification.
• Willingness to work in shift rotation.

Requirements:

• 6 years of extensive network operations and implementation of enterprise (Data centre/Public Clouds) at scale using industry-standard networking solutions.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in any (AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI) Public Cloud platforms. Public Cloud Network Certifications are a plus. (At least one cloud experience is needed)
• Understanding of Enterprise Network design, including Data Centre, Campus, Public Cloud, and Global WAN connectivity.
• Understanding of Networking technologies: IPv4/IPv6, BGP, VPN, L2 switching, and VxLAN.
• Hands-on experience with multiple hardware vendors, including Arista (L2/L3/CVP), Cisco (Spinal leaf/ L2/L3) IOS.NX-OS, Meraki (Wireless), Palo Alto Networks.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with one or more Load Balancers – (Citrix NetScaler preferred, AVI Load Balancer, NGINX, and HA proxy).
• Knowledge of network layer security, including Firewalls (Palo Alto, 802.1.x, Network Authentication Systems, and VPN technologies).
