Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst (AI Training)
About The Role
Your hands-on security experience is more valuable than you might think — not just in the SOC, but in shaping the next generation of AI. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. We're looking for experienced infrastructure and network security practitioners to help us do that by analyzing real-world security scenarios, classifying incidents, and evaluating how threats and controls interact in production environments.
This is a unique opportunity to apply deep technical expertise in a high-impact, flexible contract role — and directly influence how AI understands enterprise security.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote

- Translate complex security issues into clear, structured explanations of root cause and business impact
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in network security, infrastructure security, or endpoint security
- Familiar with enterprise security tooling — firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and more
- Strong grasp of how real organizations deploy, operate, and fail to enforce security controls
- Able to clearly articulate what went wrong, why it matters, and what should have happened instead
- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
- Experience with incident response, threat hunting, or security operations
- Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or vulnerability management
- Familiarity with AI systems, data labeling, or security research
