Network Analyst / Network Operations Engineer
Location: Gurgaon, India (Onsite only)
Employment Type: Contract (1 year, extension possible)
We are supporting a global enterprise organization in hiring a Network Analyst / Network Operations Engineer to join their onsite IT infrastructure team in Gurgaon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve internal IP network issues across enterprise environments
- Provide Level II network support in collaboration with systems and user support teams
- Support network projects, upgrades, and new installations
- Assist with planning, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including:
- Network hardware and software
- Cabling and physical infrastructure
- Monitor routers, switches, and security devices using internal and external monitoring tools
- Support and maintain network security infrastructure, including firewalls
- Coordinate and assist with repair of network and telecommunications equipment
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and operational procedures
- Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support business requirements
- Participate in a 24x7 rotational on-call schedule as required
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a network analyst, network engineer, or network operations role
- Hands-on experience with network security and firewall technologies
- Palo Alto experience preferred; other firewall platforms acceptable
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts:
- WAN, LAN, WLAN
- IP networking and troubleshooting
- Experience working with routers, switches, and network monitoring tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience supporting production enterprise networks in a corporate environment
- Familiarity with VoIP fundamentals and protocols
- Experience working in vendor-supported or global IT environments
