Position : Network Engineer

Description
Technical support for networking such as: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, wireless and security. Remote access solution implementation and support such as IPSEC VPN Ability to work with vendor support to resolve client issues Respond to and resolve alerts and tickets generated from the monitoring system and/or customer requests in a timely fashion. Responsible for insuring the day-to-day operation, reliability, and integrity of the enterprise network. This includes the installation, maintenance, and management of all data network equipment such as router, L3 switch, LAN switch, firewall, wireless, etc. To troubleshoot equipment and network problems, participate in critical maintenance windows, and to open and track TAC cases through to problem resolution on pre and post production issues. To understand the Customer's organizational structure and become familiar with the Customer's network implementation and support processes and procedures to help in designing a network that is available and sustainable. Communicate with customers as needed regarding ticket progress, changes or agreed outages. Escalate service requests that require engineer level support in a timely fashion to prevent breech of SLA. Work with all team members to implement and improve Company best practices. Utilize central management tools to resolve customer issues with minimal customer impact. Get new clients on-boarded and documented in our systems. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
Skills
B.E./B.Tech. Degree, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent education Actively working on one relevant certification track: CCNA / CCNP / NSE4-7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent Teamwork and proper shift handover Willing to work in a 24x7 shift 4 years+ of relevant experience as a network engineer including router, switch, firewall Hands-on network configuration experience in router, switches and firewall, APs.

Datacenter working experience, Cisco Routers, Cisco L3 switches, HP switches, Fortinet Firewalls, Access Points.
Mandatory: Datacenter exp, Firewalls (Fortinet preferred), Cisco networks
