This role involves senior-level ownership of enterprise FortiGate firewall and F5 BIG-IP environments, covering design, deployment, optimization, and ongoing operations. The professional will manage FortiGate Security Fabric, policies, VPNs, HA clusters, VDOMs, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer, along with advanced troubleshooting and upgrades. On the F5 side, responsibilities include LTM, GTM, ASM, and APM configuration, SSL/TLS offloading, certificate management, custom health monitors, and complex iRules development. The role acts as a Level 3 escalation point, leading major incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive improvements. It requires deep expertise in network protocols, application delivery, and web security within large enterprise environments. Strong leadership, documentation, and communication skills are essential, along with participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Ideal candidates bring 7-10 years of experience, strong Fortinet and F5 certifications, and a security-focused mindset in hybrid on-prem and cloud infrastructures
