JOB DESCRIPTION :

Mandatory to Have: Excellent communication is mandate for this role.

Mandatory Skill : BGP , OSPF and Cisco routing switching concepts.

Certification in CCNA , CIP is good to have.

Responsibilities:

- Identify incident patterns and drive for problem resolution.

- Drive continuous improvements of the networking service, focusing on automation to manage scale and optimize efforts through appropriate tooling.

- Respond to high priority incidents, collaborate with engineers from various groups, gather and provide forensic data for security incidents, and create post-mortem documentation as needed.

- Provide technical expertise to perform root cause analysis of service interrupting incidents and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in networking technologies, especially in driving large-scale, data-driven projects.

- In-depth experience with TCP/IP and packet sniffers.

- Working knowledge of BGP and OSPF.

- Experience with the following technologies: Routing & Switching, Configuring Routers / Switches / Firewalls / Load balancers.

- Strong working experience on Cisco / Juniper / F5 / Arista platforms.

- Experience with Networking OS, such as EOS, IOS, IOS-XR, NXOS, JUNOS, and SONiC.

- Understanding of MPLS, L3 VPNs and VRFs, STP, HSRP, CDP, UDLD.

- Using existing procedures and tooling to develop and safely complete network changes.

- Participating in operational rotations providing break-fix support.

- Identifying actionable incidents using monitoring systems, with strong analytical problem-solving skills to mitigate network events/incidents.

- Following up on routine root cause analysis (RCA), coordinating with support teams and vendors.

- Providing on-call support services as needed, with varied and complex job duties requiring independent judgment (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
