Network Engineer

Role Details:

• Company: NR Consulting
• Position: Network Engineer (SONiC)
• Total Experience: 4+ years
• Shift timing : 7 pm to 3 AM
• Location: Remote (Base location: Noida)
• Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred
• Note: Candidates from Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh are not being considered

Please check with candidates who have worked in L2 support whether they have any experience with YANG or gNMI, and confirm if they have hands-on exposure to these technologies.

• SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) – programmatic configuration (gNMI/YANG, SWSS)
• gNMI / YANG – for iterative and automated network configuration (Gnmi or yang any one of them will work)
• Scripting Languages – strong experience in Python / Bash
• Basic Programming Knowledge – exposure to languages like C, C++, Golang, or Rust (at least light experience expected)
• Data Center Networking Knowledge – hands-on understanding required
• FRR (Routing - OSPF) – required (mentioned later in console/network setup section)
