Your expertise will help drive the reliability and performance of CloudFulcrum's on-premises infrastructure, supporting our mission to deliver uninterrupted and secure services to our clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in any relevant field and have 4-6 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with Palo Alto Networks NGFWs and Panorama, along with a strong understanding of routing and switching fundamentals including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP/RSTP, and LACP. Experience with enterprise wireless networks, datacenter networking concepts like spine-leaf architecture, VxLAN/EVPN, and high-availability designs is essential. Additionally, familiarity with network automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or Terraform, and knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain the corporate LAN infrastructure, including access, distribution, and core switching, VLANs, STP, and QoS configurations for headquarters and remote offices. Manage and optimize wireless LAN networks, conducting site surveys, RF planning, SSID design, and troubleshooting client connectivity issues. Administer network access control protocols such as 802.1X, certificate-based authentication, and guest network segmentation to ensure secure access.
Operate and evolve the datacenter network, including spine-leaf architecture, BGP routing, VxLAN/EVPN overlays, and high-availability configurations. Monitor network performance and capacity proactively, utilizing observability tools like SNMP, streaming telemetry, and NetFlow/sFlow to identify and resolve issues swiftly. Collaborate with server, storage, and platform engineering teams on physical connectivity, new service deployments, and capacity planning.
Manage Palo Alto Networks NGFW platforms, including policy management, App-ID, URL filtering, Threat Prevention, and WildFire integration. Administer GlobalProtect VPN and Prisma Access to facilitate secure remote access, enforcing zero-trust segmentation between zones. Conduct regular firewall rule reviews, clean up redundant policies, and support security audits to maintain optimal security posture.
Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows using Python, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline network operations, reduce manual effort, and enhance consistency. Utilize AI-assisted tools for log analysis, documentation, and runbook generation, ensuring efficient incident response and operational excellence.
