Role: Network Engineer

Location: Bangalore

What You'll Do:

• Monitoring of All assets in Datacentre including Network, Servers, and Storages through the monitoring tool.

• Complete asset management of Datacentre.

• Co-ordinate with both Network and Sysadmin team during L2/L3 level trouble shooting.

• Manage basic data centre operations.

• Monitor of backup which is running through tools. Inform the Backup team in case of failure of backup.

• Submission of Daily reports, shift handover.

• Mandatory to log all tickets through MSMA tool.

• Will maintain documentation of all datacentre configurations, incident reports and maintenance activities, regular update on Rack usage and diagram.

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualification - B.E/B.Tech.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Data Centre Operations

• Good understanding in basic networking preferably Cisco. 1st level Network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, routing & switching)

• Good understanding in Datacentre connectivity, passive cabling standards.

• Should know the basic command to run in switch, check logs.

• Good understanding in basic Servers installation including OS installation. Knowledge of how to connect a server,iDrac, Dual power supply.

• Good understanding of TCP/IP and other protocols like DHCP/DNS.

• Good Understanding of AD, Reset of password, understanding of Group Policy, Providing File Server Permission.

• Knowledge in installing Hardware Devices in Racks including Servers, Switches.

• Any issues he is required to immediately report to L2 Engineers supporting Network and Sysadmin.

• Co-ordinate and Log calls with OEMs/Vendors as and when required.
