Network Engineer L3

• Provide 3rd level escalations support for various routers, security appliances, switches, network storage devices and other networking devices.
• Replicate customer reported issues to provide validation of defects to engineering.
• Participate in product testing to assist in the new product release process.
• Review/validate internal documents and knowledge articles for internal and public dissemination.
• Analyze customer calls to identify product problems in the field and recommend call avoidance strategies.
• Develop and conduct technical training to support staff and/or client partners.
• Up to 10% travelling time to provide field support.

Requirements:

• BS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting network environments. In lieu of experience,
• CCNA certified or equivalent experience in networking.
• Must demonstrate understanding of network topologies, as well as network implementation and design.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of networking technologies including wireless, firewalls, VPN, switches, and network storage technology.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of network and routing protocols.
• Must have experience with MS-Window/Linux networking applications.
• Candidate must have excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
• Must have excellent analytical, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
