Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Support Engineer (L1/L2/L3) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across various levels (L1, L2, L3).
- Provide support for network incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incidents for future reference.
- Assist in network performance monitoring and optimization.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software support as needed.
- Participate in network upgrades and deployments.
- Provide training and support to junior team members.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-6 years of experience in network support or related field.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.
- Experience with routing and switching technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
- Familiarity with network security principles and practices.
- Proficient in network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting techniques and tools.
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
