Network Engineer - L2

Requirement:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cisco network administration.
• Strong expertise in Switching (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel) and Routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS).
• Experience with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) for network access control.
• Hands-on experience in Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela/Meraki) deployments.
• Knowledge of VPNs (IPsec, GRE, DMVPN), NAT, ACLs, and QoS policies.
• Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers, and network security principles.
• Proficiency in using network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes for incident and change management.

Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Enterprise, Security, or SD-WAN (Preferred)
• Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation (Preferred)
• CCNA Must
• ITIL Foundation Certification (a plus)
• Network Engineer - Mandatory Skills
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cisco network administration.
• L2 & L3 Switch Management:
• Access Point Configuration and Management
• SD-WAN Deployment and Support:
• Cisco Technologies - Preferred
• Ability to work independently and resolve critical network issues.
