Job Title: L2 Network Engineer (IT Infrastructure Projects)
Role Overview: We are seeking a technical expert to design and deploy networks for Green and Brownfield projects. This role focuses on LAN Switching, Wireless (Wi-Fi), and Network Access Control (Cisco ISE). You will lead technical delivery and provide expert guidance to the L1 support team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deployment: Plan and deploy Cisco Wired and Wireless networks, including SD-Access and fabric integration.
- Documentation: Prepare technical design documents, including HLD, LLD, Migration plans, and Acceptance testing.
- Migration: Lead network migrations from legacy to new infrastructure.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines independently, perform tool updates, and participate in customer review meetings.
- Operations: Ensure smooth operational handovers through detailed documentation and staff training.
Technical Skills Required:
- Switching: Expert knowledge of VLANs, 802.1Q, STP (RSTP/PVST+), EtherChannel, and HSRP/VRRP.
- Routing: Proficiency in Inter-VLAN routing, OSPF, and basic BGP.
- Wireless: Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, Roaming, and WLC architectures.
- Security (ISE): Ability to troubleshoot RADIUS/TACACS+ logs, EAP-TLS/PEAP flows, and CoA.
- Tools: Proficient in Wireshark, SolarWinds, and CLI.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: 36 years in Enterprise Network Operations.
- Certifications:CCNA (Mandatory), CCNP Enterprise (Preferred), or Cisco SISE (Advantage).
- Availability: Must be willing to work outside of standard hours for migrations/support as needed.
