Job Title: Network Engineer L1

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Network Engineer (L1) to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for basic network support, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor network performance and ensure system availability

Provide first-level support for network-related issues

Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity problems

Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls (basic level)

Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams

Maintain network documentation and logs

Assist in network setup and installations

Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

Understanding of LAN/WAN technologies

Familiarity with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Basic knowledge of network monitoring tools

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Certifications like CCNA (preferred but not mandatory)
