About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our High-Frequency Trading (HFT) team in Gurgaon. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of our ultra-low latency trading networks, which require precision, speed, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in routing, switching, and network security, with hands-on experience working with Cisco and Juniper devices. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network architectures that support our high-speed trading activities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize network performance, as well as ensuring adherence to security protocols, will be key aspects of this role. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2-6 years of professional experience in network engineering or related fields. A strong understanding of routing and switching technologies is essential, along with proficiency in Linux environments. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, and a solid grasp of network security principles. Certifications like Cisco CCNP or Juniper JNCIS/JSNO are preferred but not mandatory. A proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure are important qualities for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, low-latency network infrastructures tailored for high-frequency trading activities.
- Configure and manage Cisco and Juniper network devices, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime and latency.
- Collaborate with development and trading teams to understand network requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
