At least 5-10 years full-time professional experience supporting network, server, storage, and IT security.
- Firewalls and Security: End-to-end security in keeping the network secure and maintaining firewalls within the network.
- Networking: Knowledge of different types of networks and architectures (including WAN, LAN, Wifi Access points) and how they can be integrated into an existing system.
- Maintenance of Hardware and Infrastructure. Setup of Physical/Virtual server connections and racks, manually configure devices such as printers, or set up Ethernet ports.
- Strong grasp of Microsoft Active Directory administration, troubleshooting issues in DNS in a connected environment.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP concepts, VLANs, Wireless Networking technologies and security, VPN, Identity Access Management, and VOIP concepts.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online email deliverability issues, and anti-spam solutions
- Experience supporting conferencing and video conferencing solutions; Skype for Business, Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams.
- Proficiency with shared storage technologies (NAS), Microsoft operating systems, Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Ability to support and resolve a wide range of daily technical issues; eagerness to investigate and learn new technologies
- Strong ability and emphasis on automation where applicable; provisioning and patching of endpoints
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, communication skills, and follow-through
- Graduate Engineer with CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certifications preferred.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity is required. Certification on ISO27001 Lead Implementer (LI) and ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) preferred.
