Position Overview (Job Summary)
The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining secure and high‑performance network infrastructures across enterprise environments. This role requires strong hands‑on expertise in LAN/WAN, cloud, wireless networking, and SD‑WAN technologies, with a focus on Fortinet and Versa solutions. The engineer will work closely with cross‑functional IT teams to ensure network reliability, security, scalability, and business continuity.
Mandatory / Primary Skills
- SD‑WAN (Mandatory) – Fortinet & Versa SD‑WAN
- Enterprise LAN/WAN Architecture
- Routing & Switching (Cisco / Fortinet / Enterprise-grade devices)
- Network Security & VPN Technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
- Wireless Networking (Enterprise Wi‑Fi Solutions)
- Network Monitoring & Performance Optimization
- Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Planning
Secondary Skills
- Load Balancers (L4/L7 – basic to intermediate level)
- Cloud Networking (AWS / Azure / Hybrid environments – basic understanding)

- Automation / Scripting (basic exposure – preferred)
Sub Band with Experience Details
- Band: Network Engineer / Senior Network Engineer
- Experience: 4–8 Years in Enterprise Network Operations & Engineering
- 2+ years hands‑on experience with SD‑WAN implementations is mandatory
Role and Responsibilities (As per Band)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support network architectures including LAN, WAN, Cloud, Wireless, and SD‑WAN solutions to meet business requirements
- Install, configure, and upgrade routers, switches, SD‑WAN devices, load balancers, and wireless infrastructure
- Manage and maintain secure network protocols including VPNs, firewall policies, and access controls
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively optimize infrastructure
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and clearly communicate network issues to end users, IT teams, and management
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and failover procedures
- Work closely with internal IT teams and vendors to integrate systems and resolve complex network issues
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date network documentation, including configurations, topology diagrams, and change records
- Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices
- Provide support during audits, performance reviews, and incident post‑mortems
- Mentor junior team members where applicable
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field
- Relevant certifications preferred:
- Fortinet SD‑WAN Certification
- Versa SD‑WAN Certification
- CCNA / CCNP / Equivalent Networking Certifications (Preferred)
