About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis, with an immediate start preferred. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level network infrastructure across multiple locations including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Pune. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of LAN/WAN, SDWAN, wireless technologies, and network security protocols. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, security, and high availability of our network environment, supporting both wired and wireless connectivity, as well as cloud-based network solutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or possess equivalent hands-on experience in enterprise networking. Strong practical knowledge of Cisco LAN/WAN, SDWAN, and data center networking is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, along with experience managing Layer 2 and Layer 3 network environments including VLANs, STP/RSTP/MSTP, EtherChannel, switch stacking, and QoS. Certifications such as Cisco CCNP or CCIE (Routing & Switching) are preferred. Additionally, wireless certifications like CCIE Wireless, Aruba Expert (ACMX/ACDX/ACCX), and CWNP or CWSP are desirable. The candidate should also have a solid grasp of WLAN technologies, wireless authentication mechanisms, and software-defined networking (SDN).

Responsibilities

The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting Cisco-based LAN, WAN, and SDWAN solutions, with a preference for Viptela technology. You will configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP and OSPF, ensuring optimal network performance. Managing Layer 2 and Layer 3 environments will involve handling VLANs, spanning tree protocols (STP/RSTP/MSTP), EtherChannel, switch stacking, and implementing Quality of Service (QoS) policies. You will support and maintain security appliances such as firewalls, Zscaler, and load balancers like F5 to safeguard network integrity. Deploying and managing enterprise WiFi solutions from Cisco and Aruba, including authentication and network access control via ClearPass/ISE and Aruba Central, will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will implement and support private 5G solutions, such as Celona, to enhance connectivity options. Ensuring high network performance, security, and availability across all environments will be your ongoing focus. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing expert guidance and support to maintain operational excellence.
