Job Description

Responsibilities:

Participate in network lifecycle management through build and upgrade projects.
Collaborate with program/project managers to develop milestones and deliverables.
Develop and safely execute network changes using existing or new procedures.
Serve as technical lead for team projects and contribute to roadmap development.
Develop new runbooks and methods of procedures; mentor junior engineers.
Participate in network solution and architecture design.
Take responsibility for developing standalone features.
Participate in operational rotations and provide break-fix support for events.
Serve as escalation point for event remediation and lead post-event root cause analysis.
Coordinate with network automation services for tooling development and integration.
Frequently develop scripts to automate routine tasks.
Serve as SME for software development projects supporting network automation.
Support network vendor software bug fixes and collaborate with vendor QA teams for bug resolution and firmware/OS qualification.
