Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically sound
IT Support Engineer (L1) with 24 years of experience in network and desktop support. The candidate will be responsible for handling IT support tickets, troubleshooting network/server/PC issues, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and resolve network, server, and desktop support tickets within defined SLAs.
- Provide L1 support for routing, switching, and firewall configuration/troubleshooting .
- Configure and troubleshoot Wi-Fi networks and connectivity issues .
- Manage and support Active Directory (AD) user accounts, roles, and permissions .
- Basic administration of Backup Servers and File Servers .
- Perform PC troubleshooting (Windows OS issues, system recovery, hardware problems).
- Coordinate with OEM/vendors for hardware replacements and service support.
- Conduct initial PC setup (OS installation, system configuration, domain joining, software installation).
- Provide L1 support for CCTV systems, Access Control systems, and office automation equipment .
- Manage vendor relationships and track open issues until closure.
- Maintain documentation of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions.
- Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and operational requirements.
Required Skills Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure/Support.
- Strong knowledge of Routing Switching (L1 level) .
- Basic knowledge of Firewall configuration and management .
- Understanding of Wi-Fi configuration and troubleshooting .
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Backup File Servers .
- Good communication skills in English (verbal written).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience in vendor coordination and management.
Required Skills
- Good communication skills in English.
