Job Description

Network System Analyst

  • Experience: 5-10 Years
  • Location: Chennai

Choosing Capgemini means choosing a place where you'll be empowered to shape your career, supported by a collaborative global community, and inspired to reimagine what's possible.

Your Role

As a Network Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and efficiency of Sky's network optimisation applications. You will collaborate across technical, commercial, and operational teams to transform complex technical data into actionable insights, enhance system processes, and support strategic decision‑making. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys analytical problem‑solving, data‑driven thinking, and bridging engineering with business impact.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify key performance indicators and planning rules to drive measurable operational and commercial outcomes.
  • Develop cost models and optimisation strategies in partnership with commercial and marketing teams.
  • Build capacity and availability models to generate short‑ and long‑term utilisation forecasts, run scenario simulations, and assess the impact of optimisation strategies.
  • Validate end‑to‑end data flows—including inputs, processing logic, and outputs—and troubleshoot anomalies on a day‑to‑day basis.
  • Design, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards to track usage, performance trends, cost savings, and business impact.
  • Serve as a liaison between developers, data engineers, data scientists, SMEs, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless knowledge flow and coordinated delivery.
  • Document system behaviour, workflows, planning logic, and all data requirements.
  • Perform ad‑hoc analyses to support business decisions, operational investigations, and executive reporting.
  • Communicate insights effectively through compelling visualisations, presentations, and summaries tailored to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, system utilisation, and decision‑making workflows.

Your Profile

  • Experience in a technical, analytical, or operations‑focused role working with complex systems or applications.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interrogate, validate, and interpret complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL for large‑scale data queries, integrity checks, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Python for automation, scripting, and data manipulation tasks.
  • Experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Grafana, Apache Superset, Tableau, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Experience within a telecommunications operator environment.
    • Understanding of network operations or telecom technologies, especially voice and messaging architectures.
    • Exposure to MVNO environments and involvement in capacity planning or interconnect routing.
    • Hands‑on experience monitoring mobile interconnect performance, QoS, and utilisation trends.
    • Ability to assess routing and interconnection strategies balancing quality, resilience, and cost efficiency.
    • Familiarity with optimisation engines, algorithmic decision systems, or rule‑based logic flows.
    • Experience improving automated decision‑making or optimisation logic processes.
What You'll Love About Working Here

  • The opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technologies across AI, 5G, Cloud, and advanced network systems.
  • A workplace culture that champions diversity, inclusion, and individuality—you can proudly be yourself.
  • Collaboration with bold, proactive, and forward‑thinking teams shaping the future of media and connectivity.
  • The ability to make real impact on network performance, customer experience, and business strategy.
  • A supportive environment focused on continuous learning, professional growth, and innovation.
